So Many Thank Yous

Since Laura's death, so many people have offered and extended help and support to me, there is no way I can ever thank everyone, let alone thank everyone as much as they should be thanked. I have received, literally, hundreds of emails from strangers located all around the world offering sympathy, kind words and support. Most of these are people I do not know. It is important that ALL of you know that I read your letters and have been extremely touched by them. There is no way I could ever reply to them all. Even if I could, often times it has been far too difficult to talk about anything. I hope you understand.

I want to start first with thanking ALL of my family for support, particularly while Laura was still alive. All of you helped us tremendously. Grandma, you made Laura cry more than once because of your kindness. Honestly, without all of you, I don't know how I could have maintained my composure and frame of mind while taking care of Laura. Sometimes, I felt like I was going to crack. So, thank you, thank you, and thank you. I am not going to list everyone, you know who you are.

I also want to thank Laura's mother, Cheryl, for her support through everything. I know it was hard dealing with everything from afar, but I do appreciate everything. I am so glad we finally have the stone in place, too.

Giant thanks go to the following people, who without, I wouldn't have been able to make it: Sandra, Jeremy and Sam, Elyse, Elayne, Kim S., Ciff and Sarah, and Kambriel. All of you have been overwhelmingly supportive in too many ways to mention.

So many people, many strangers, sent in money to help pay for Laura's stone, that I could never list you all. Some people sent in as little as $2, but it is amazing what the power of numbers did to help get the bill paid for. THANK YOU to all of you! If I could buy all of you dinner, I would. Instead, imagine big, virtual internet hugs from Detroit.

Other thanks, in no particular order: Laura's friends Rain, Mildred, and Amanda. Bob, Bobby and Maggie Purdy. Laura's extended family who I barely had time to get aquainted with. Brent Grooms, Shawn N., Old Halloween Rhonda, Dr. Voravit, Anna R/W., Rebecca K., Steve A. and Mike P., My old roomie Sara S., Donna Ricci, Carl A., Sifu Owen, everyone from Gothic Royalty, all the people from my Livejournal list, and the inevitable others I have forgotten. If I have, I apologize. My brain doesn't quite work as well as it did before all of this happened.

Thanks again, to everyone!

Daniel
